Arlen holds 9 years of experience facilitating the design and delivery of single, multi, and mixed-use residential, commercial, and communal project types across Canberra & Melbourne. During this time, he has developed a knowledge of how to produce a project from concept to completion. He draws fulfilment from creating built designs that consider environmental and cultural conditions, and the lifestyles of groups and individuals – predicated to interact. He enjoys approaching solutions by; designing with a digital tool set that interrogates effects towards a sites surrounding natural context and supports energy-efficient outcomes, implementing forms and material expressions that would be positively perceived, and curating supplementary internal spaces that aim to have a compelling affect. His pursuits are to draw people towards buildings that stimulate commercial, communal, performative, and liveable conditions across all scales.
